Child Protection and Vetting 2003 Introduction

The Council was requested by The Minister of State with Responsibility for Children, Brian Lenihan TD, to provide feedback and advice with regard to how successfully 'Children First' the National Child Protection Guidelines are being implemented on the ground and also to give advice in relation to the arrangements for vetting staff working with children.
