 Alcohol and Young People The Council was asked to look at the issue of alcohol and young people by the Minister of State, with responsibility for Children, Mr Brian Lenihan T.D. A sub-group of the Council was established and it was decided to use the recommendations of the Interim Report of the Strategic Task Force on Alcohol (May 2002) as a framework to progress this issue.
